Event led by the Colombian Government through the Vice-Ministry of Tourism together with organizations including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UNICEF, UNODC, WTTC (World Travel and Tourism), the Global High-Level Task Force on Child Protection in Travel and Tourism, ECPAT International, ECPAT Colombia – Fundación Renacer and the District Institute of Tourism of Bogotá

Global leaders, NGOs, governments, travel agents, tourism operators, hotels, technology and reservations companies, the police and civil society organizations came together, as well as the sector’s main agents in the country

The participants made a call for action to all the key parts of the industry to adopt a comprehensive framework based on children’s rights, where everyone actively works to end the impunity of sex criminals who travel with children
